LJ Torana is an exclusive car model introduced by General Motors – Holden’s and the entire making of this motor series was anchored in Australian subsidiary during the year 1967 – 1980. The year 1967 was remarkable and significant, because the first Torana car series was introduced with a 4 cylinder versions. This type of car series had its instigation of the British Vauxhall Vivas during the middle of 1960’s. Disc brake for front wheels was quite standard in all the Torana series while the back wheel drums remained to be different from one pattern to another.
